Designation Assistant Manager – Product Development - 1 Opening(s)
Job Description Assist in the product development process including
contribution to idea generation, in-house product review, market and
competition assessment, market intelligence, internal and external
approvals, product pricing and launch, implementing changes to existing
products
Keep abreast of industry and financial market developments and regulatory
changes and assess the impact on the company’s range of funds
Create, update and maintain supporting product database including
prospectuses, application forms and any other relevant fund documentation
Be adept at structuring product presentations, performance reports, sales
aids and other supporting materials for effective marketing of new and
existing products

Desired Profile Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under
pressure and to tight deadlines
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, and ability to liaise with
senior management, peers and other team members
Work closely with investment, legal, compliance, operations, client service,
sales and marketing teams to ensure effective delivery of assigned
responsibilities. Be a source of technical product expertise.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Committed team player
Prepared to work hard and enjoy the challenges of a dynamic working
environment


Qualifications and Experience



CA/MBA with minimum of 2 years experience working in a Product
Management role within an Asset Management company/Insurance
Company
Broad exposure to a range of products with specific experience in
developing mutual fund/insurance products preferred
Keen interest in financial markets and strong understanding of the
regulatory framework in which mutual funds operate

Experience 2 - 4 Years

Working at this company will ensure you see all aspects of the day to day running of the business as you will be working very closly with the owner.

They supply furniture and cabnet makers with glue, silicon, Knobs and accessories.

Role and Responsibilities

Your day to day responsiblities will vary from all aspects of the sales cycle.

You would be required to maintain strong relationships with excisting clients.

Generate new business from various needs from cold calling to canvasing local businesses you would be on the road half the time and the other half on the road developing business.

The Candidate

The successful Applicant will ideally possess;

  • Account Management skills
  • Cold calling ability
  • Experienced in canvasing
  • Glue, silicon or cabinet hardware background
